The rugby club is a 501c3 - not for profit organization.

As a "Non-profit" your contribution IS tax deductible.

OK, GREAT! you want to become a sponsor of the rugby club... FANTASTIC!

Now what do you want to donate to the rugby club?

Money?     Services?     Goods?     SUPER!

Any and all of these are more than good they are great.

We can accept your car, your boat, your plane or even modest things like a hard tine rake or bag of seed for the rugby field.

So you want to be a sponsor of the rugby club but you don't know what to give or how much to give.

A GREAT place to start is through a donation towards the cost of maintenance of Ryan Field our rugby pitch in Seatac. We have a web page listing the significant elements needed to maintain the rugby pitch... everything from the porta-potty and dumpster to bags of seed and fertilizer... even monthly watering fees.

So you have looked at the Friends of Ryan Field sponsorship page and none of the field rolling or cement costs seem to be the type of sponsorship you are interested in. that happens and there are other ways of sponsoring and supporting the rugby club. And of course you will receive a receipt for your donation that you use when filling in your tax form.

How about a t-shirt, jersey, track suit or warm-up. What about a hat, scarf or sweat-shirt with your company logo announcing your sponsorship. GREAT all of these a wonderful options too.

When planning on a sponsorship such as this there are hurdles that have to be crossed such as... do you have the garments, hats or item that will announce you sponsorship? Or are you going to purchase these as part of your sponsorship? Do you have a design suitable for the world to see your wonderful support?
That's all good.
What if you have a swell idea but the solution isn't on the Friends of Ryan Field sponsorship page, isn't a car or a plane and a hat or t-shirt doesn't say what you want said is there still some way you can help the rugby club?

You bet there is. The place to start is by communicating with one of our club officers or executive board members to open a line of dialog to find you perfect fit. A good place to start is with an email to our Executive Board President Ric "ZIPPY" Hall  and let him know what you are thinking of and he can start things grinding in the brain trust to find a perfect fit for your needs.

OK you've looked and looked and thought and thought and you still can't figure anything out you can still donate cash. Yes cash is as good as anything else that you could offer. You can make a donation online or simply give a check or cash to a club member and that can hand it off to our treasurer who will make out a receipt for your sponsorship.

DOUBLE your contribution:
When donating money to the rugby club there is a way the rugby club can realize a double benefit and that is if your employer or company does matching money for donations to "non-profits". Companies such as Boeing, Microsoft and more offer matching moneys. If your company falls into this category please bring the contact info for the accounting department and we will take it form there. And THANK YOU.
